Ambiance Victoriana Blue Transforms Period Hallway

The homeowners wanted a flooring solution that would complement the character of their period property while adding a striking design feature to the entrance and connecting hallway. They selected Ambiance Victoriana Blue, a decorative Victorian-inspired tile that combines timeless geometric patterns with subtle blue accents for a sophisticated finish. The installation created an immediate focal point, bringing definition and character to the space while maintaining a clean, elegant aesthetic. The intricate pattern works beautifully alongside the property’s traditional architectural details, including the original skirting boards and door frames, while the blue tones introduce a contemporary touch. A contrasting border was incorporated to frame the design and provide a seamless transition between rooms, including the adjacent herringbone wood flooring. The result is a durable, low-maintenance floor that delivers both practicality and visual impact in a high-traffic area of the home.
